Special thanks to........

Thank you for visiting my site.  I am a professional musician who has worked professionally out of mainly Chicago and Los Angeles. My father, Reggie Boyd,Sr. the Chicago guitar guru, played bass and guitar on almost all the Chess recordings, among other great contributions. (Google him. He is the man). I'm just trying to keep the family business alive and well. My resume includes television shows, major commercials, video games (EA Sports, Wii, etc.) and other session work.  In addition I have done both domestic and international tours with major artists and cover bands and I have had much experience in the musical director's chair.
As you might expect, I have a huge repertoire of songs from playing many years in many situations.  That includes songs from multiple genres including Pop, Classic Rock, Dance, R&B, Country, Latin, Afro Cuban and Jazz (Both traditional and eclectic)  and I stay up to date on current styles and sounds.
I would love to assist you in crafting your project, subbing for your guitarist (at a moment's notice), or helping you achieve your own voice in the world of guitar as a consultant and educator.

I just finished a 2 year stint being a guitar coach for Guitartricks.com (one of the worlds largest online guitar school), where I teach guitarists from all over the world in a virtual classroom/seminar environment. I host a weekly jam and I also freelance with various bands in various genres.
